I was invited to be a Trustee of the Millennium Bridge Trust from the creation of the Trust in 1997 to its initial opening in June 2000 when 100000 people crossed the bridge, and its immediate closure due to an unexpected sideways ‘wobble’ . It was eventually reopened February 2002 after modification. Soon after the Trust was dissolved and responsibiltiy was transferred to the Bridge House Estate
